What is girls' work?

Girls' work is part of a gender-based pedagogy. Girls' work is a multi-layered work with and for girls and young women of women in Dinslaken.
Girls' work sees itself as emancipatory work in gender-homogeneous groups. By this, the working group understands to offer spaces for self-development, testing, education and learning processes. Girls' work is an attitude and a relationship offer in a pedagogical setting. The work with girls in Dinslaken focuses on the structural and individual life situations and needs of girls and young women. At the same time, it critically examines the structures and concepts of child and youth welfare, school, the professional world, culture and leisure activities in Dinslaken on a political and social level.
